Mary's Pool

after a 2hr drive out of the Bungles we head off now to Halls Ck, we are thinking we might stay but upon arrival at 12.30pm we decide to push on to Fitzroy Crossing.Wendy has the call of nature along the way but the land is sparse and nowhere to go unseen, eventually we come to a rest area called Mary's Pool which has a toilet so we drive in, it is now only 1.30pm but the place is 3/4 full of caravans it is a nice spot beside the river and lots of shade so we decide to stay the night. It still amazes me that all the free camps are full by lunch time with caravans hardly a campertrailer or tent in sight, some of these caravans and their tow vehicles must be worth a fortune yet here they all are hogging the free camps I guess they must of blown all their money on their setups and cant afford parks or they are just tight arses, more the latter IMO.
